Superior Well Drilling & Pump is a family-owned water well company based in Lucerne Valley, California, owned by Sam Hart. The company services pumps, certifies wells and drills new ones across the High Desert of San Bernardino County.
Our goal is to provide you with the best possible well drilling / pump service experience ever. What we realize is that when it comes to water wells, nothing beats life experience. At Superior Well Drilling and Pump, the crew puts that experience and knowledge to work for you.

Built for the High Desert
Superior runs its own drilling rigs, including a hard-rock rig, capable of depths to 1,000 feet and diameters up to 18 inches. Two dedicated pump service trucks roll fully stocked with the most common parts, with specialty items from suppliers within 24 hours. The pump trucks can pull up to 16,000 pounds, enough for just about any well in the desert, and a 4x4 pump truck handles Big Bear’s steep, snowy lots. With proper planning, most jobs can be completed in one day. Rain or shine, you can count on us!
Agents and escrow
The company works with real estate agents and brokers throughout the High Desert as an association affiliate, which gives it access to the regional MLS and title information so well research is quick. Well certifications are billed through escrow.
Call or text
Sam would rather you text than wait. Robocalls sometimes fill the voicemail, and he won’t answer the phone while he’s running a drilling rig, because that’s a safety hazard. A text with your town and the problem gets a reply.
